I am thinknig about getting a revolver I have seen for sale. It is an 1858 .44 that has the Millenium Finish, which is, I think, a finish Cimarron Arms uses. I think their revolvers are made by Uberti. What does Cimarron Arms do to these revolvers? How is their quality? Would this make a good choice for a first cap and ball revolver? The millenium finish, is the bottom level finish that Uberti is using on their guns. Cimarron's pistols come from Uberti. All of the parts are the same as the higher priced guns. Cost difference is in the fit and finish. I would find one of the higher grade guns, they look better and will have a better resale. I have several Cimarron pistols for the cowboy action games , they are fine arms needed some fine tuning but not necessary for the games . .357 and .45 long colt I don't have any percussion models from them I do have some from other makers and the .36 is by far the best for plinking | |||
