"Householder, age 64, had asked for 12 to 18 months in prison, so he could return to his Perry County farm and live out his remaining years with his wife, Taundra, his five sons and his grandchildren."

How's that for a sense of entitlement? I'm only surprised he didn't show up in a wheel chair.

The human embodiment of greed and gluttony. I hope that his bones rot in jain and that his heirs never profit from his corruption.

I wonder how many in congress are just as guilty as Householder…

And it should be noted: he was giving 1.3 billion in bailout money for a 5% kickback. “Bailouts” have no place in a capitalist society.

But I’m one of those wackos who thinks that we shouldn’t be funding foreign wars, so…

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.
