Being a Republican should no more be a license to break the Law without consequences than being a Democrat should.

Your vision of a political Party sounds an awful lot like the street gang Trump has made the Republican Party. He's posting videos on his Social site now calling for Republican prosecutors to charge Democrats with something to avenge him.

If they broke the Law and there's evidence to support a prosecution they should be charged.

I have NEVER claimed that anybody's Party affiliation mattered if they commit a crime. It shouldn't.
