I don't understand your obsession with Nancy Pelosi. She has served her Country honorably for 37 years, was the first woman to lead either Party in either House of Congress and was the most successful Speaker of the House in a century, or ever, never losing a vote she called. She was absolutely more worthy of the Presidential Medal of Freedom than the scum Trump awarded it to, the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Devin Nunes.

Mike, I also subscribe to the Texas Tribune and that article on Phelan's challenge just has me scratching my head. The Texas right is about the meanest bunch of SOBs I have encountered anywhere.

Very difficult to deal with....the word "compromise" doesn't exist in their vocabulary.

Here's the latest on who is donating, etc. Phelan and the incumbents are getting major financing from the casino business magnate who wants to bring casino gambling to Texas. It is a very interesting and unprecedented situation in Texas politics. The GOP has been in power so long that they don't even bother fighting with the Dems....now, they just fight each other.

Pelosi owned the GOP. She is the primary reason why millions of people have medical insurance. I told my GOP acquaintances who bash on her to send those big stimulus checks back, but they all happily took the money.
