I think the personal attacks and predictions of Eternal Damnation have been pretty poor. I don't agree with those two either and I think of it as no more or less than that. I understand their logic, but can't hold their viewpoint, that's it.

It's up to you guys, think what you want, but why would they bother? It's pitiful that some of you think you are "winning" here.

I put JTEX on ignore, so I don't have to read his posts. I can't see them unless I go out of my way. Is that winning? I don't think so.

I point out Lane's errors often. I haven't influenced his opinions even a little. All that's happened is he posts less. Is that winning? I don't think so.

This whole mess with polarization - Trumpism is intractable. We just don't have a satisfactory way to reconcile, even though we want to. This forum is a fairly good means of expression, though hollow as a means of reconciling with hard core ideological opposition.

I can sorta see both sides because I know that I can't be convinced that Trump/Trumpism is okay in any way. And it's frustrating that agreement on that isn't universal. It's helpful though that several reasonable people participate here because it can be presumed representative on a broad scale.

However, it seems to me that this forum isn't about affirmations. It also seems to me that people like those mentioned are keen on affirmations, and of course are disappointed here.

It seems to me like affirmation, or not, is everything to some participants, like a switch off or on, light or dark, nothing in-between.

They are going to be disappointed herein.

Even in real life, I'm not real big on having the last word. Although I'm quite certain the sky is green and you insist it's blue, I feel comfortable enough letting you finish or end that conversation if we were face to face.

On the pf I know so little about the other participants I feel it impossible to draw any kind of conclusion other than very simple or obvious like Jines is a runty Chihuahua or Heym is a petulant child and that's strictly based on their performance here. Of course I may well be wrong.

So we discuss events and opinions. We show up when we do and wander off as we please. At least I do. Battling for Internet supremacy is retarded.
