So, Saeed, when we will go to gender indoctrination or gender misidentification or gender mental disease policing on AR??? Our lib friends here may want to be identified as "gender neutered" due to their hero Biden's latest effort to render men into women.... In our Personal Zone or whatever identifier we are using - may need to be more specific on if you squat to pee or stand up to pee. Would hate to offend someone on AR or in the Political Forum....

I don't know which is more stupid. The trend the OP complains about or spending time bitching about it. -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.

If we don’t hitch about it we will eventually cave to it. Where do you stand on the matter?

Truth be told, I don't even understand it because I pay zero attention to it. It seems like another one of those stupid issues that relates to .00001% of the population. -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.

It’s compelled speech and you should be dam worried about it. Never before has the government told you what to say. And that’s exactly what they’re doing. No it’s not a big deal right now. But I suggest everyone read or re read 1984 and Animal Farm. Quite astonishing

I have no bloody time for this bullshit! As far as I am concerned, it is the X and Y chromosomes. Nothing else matters. Had visitors over a while back. They arrived, and asked if they could wait for THEM to come to go shoot. We waited. Then a WOMAN arrived. We waited. I was told THEY had arrived. I looked at her and said "in this house we follow normal human behavior. You are a woman, and I am a man. You have any other ideas, keep them to yourself" She did not utter a word. Continued her silent until they left. I got a call later from the friend who brought them here. Apparently I was the MOST IGNORANT person she/they had ever met!

In his book, "Arabian Sands", Wilfred Thesiger tells of the Bedouin tribesmen, with whom he was travelling, upon witnessing an English soldier standing to urinate, asked him (Thesiger) what injury or deformity might prevent the soldier from squatting down to pee as they did. Those Bedouin were in no way effeminate. Regards, Bill.

I have NEVER heard of a Bedouin Faggot! Those are found in cities!

My dad spent a lot of time in several middle eastern countries. He liked and admired the Bedouin. He gave me "Arabian Sands" and I really enjoy it. Times gone by. Regards, Bill.

The purpose of language is communication. Using a plural form for an individual will lead to confusion. That being said, this was someone who was coming into your house, apparently not at your specific invitation. How would you know if it was one “royal” personage (as royalty and certain positions do allow first person plural usage in official English) or if there were others still to come? “They” were lucky they weren’t in a religious household across the gulf from you… that would not have ended well for “them.”

I don't know why we even bother to worry about the small percentage of people who don't know if they are a boy or a girl. They seem to like attention. Ignore them and they will go away.

A non issue here in DLG, but I don't think you are right. It seems like with Democrat administrations this stuff flourishes. Hillary Clinton had her "PC Speech". When we get a good conservative like Reagan or Eisenhower the nation unifies, when we get a Biden we fragment. True, I think "W" and Trump fragmented the nation more than anyone else. This stupid stuff needs to be squashed, locally, statewide and federally.

"They," "them," and "their" are proper when the person referred to is sexually ambiguous or where the reference "he or she," or "his or hers" is considered too clunky or unnatural. "I can't tell if they are a woman or man." "Everyone should keep their dog restrained." "Each employee must clock in when they start work."
