Speaking of BS, is that all you know? Walz was rated "A" by the NRA for years. After the Parkland shooting he started advocating for restrictions on bump stocks and semi-automatic assault rifles and well as the adoption of red flag laws. He also started to refuse contributions from the NRA. Then the NRA started rating him an "F". He is a life longer hunter. Take your troll crap and go away.

Your Misinformed...Tim Walz's NRA rating went from A to F. It's part of a shift from Democrats on guns

Maybe it's the NRA that's the existential threat.

If the ABC moderators in that debate where ref's in the NFL or NBA, they would be under investigation for sport rigging and insider betting
I did not care for the ABC commentators at all.
I did not think they were fair or imbalanced. They fact checked President Trump and did not fact check Kamala. The male commentator looked at President Trump with hatred in his expression. And I found it difficult to look at the female because she had her upper lip so over enhanced with lip filler. It was truly distracting. It was 3 times the size her upper lip should have been and quite overdone. I'm sorry, but it was distracting from what she was trying to say. I don't remember what she said because I was thinking, "Lord! Did she just draw her lip twice as big or did somebody punch her in the mouth and it swelled up or what happened?" I was so busy thinking that I don't even know what questions she asked!

Yep…moderation was horribly biased but you have to expect that.Even CNN’s Jake Tapper called it out.

The Moderators didn't make Trump look and sound like a lunatic, they just let him talk.

Theoretically, he could have avoided the fact-checking by simply not lying, but everybody knows "The Truth ain't in him."

And Tapper pointed out Harris emphasizing talking points she wanted to make, not lies that weren't fact checked.

There were several instances where they asked Trump questions that were basically a softball to let him speak on topics where he could look good.
On one issue, I noticed they cued it up twice, yet he diverted twice and missed the cue.

I view blaming the moderators for a shitty performance as just another example of Trump and his disciples failing to take responsibility for their own failings. I did not lose the election, it was stolen. I did not lose the debate, it was an unfair fight. Can anyone recall a single instance when Trump said I screwed up and I own it? I cannot. It is always someone else’s fault.

How to Debate

This video link starts at 2:35 because here's something Trump said that I'm sure most of everyone missed. Trump has a way of saying things that can be taken at least two ways. I think this comment is intended just like he said it. Sarah Cooper lip syncs Trump's words, but they are exactly as Trump says it. Listen to the pause between the sentences. It's precise.

https://youtu.be/MXmi5ea2hIY?s..._2ckCSTPmQBL2N&t=128

Now here it's explained further:

EVERYONE Is Focused On the Debate, BUT They Missed THIS

Video started at 1:36
https://youtu.be/87bJ2jWoXRg?si=vapDhnwppzqT4Vud&t=96

Also at 3:37 the narrator goes into analysis of what Trump said about Jan 6 and explains Trump's choice of words.

As I was driving in the car yesterday, I was listening to talk radio. It seems that the current line of attack on Harris by conservative talk show hosts is that she has no plans, no programs, just warm and fuzzy ideas. Again, the irony of such commentary is just inescapable. Listen to Trump's speeches, other than building a wall and imposing tariffs, it is all just we will do hugely great things, the best things, things like no one has seen before. There was a perfect example the night of the debate. In the discussion of healthcare, there was a back and forth about what was Trump's plan on healthcare since he declared that Obamacare stunk. Harris, as I recall said something to the effect that you have had eight years to think about it, what's the plan? Trump's response, he said he had “concepts of a plan” and added "and there are concepts and options we have to do that, and you'll be hearing about it in the not-too-distant future.” Nothing. A giant nothing burger after eight years. My point is that the commentators on the left and the right have lost credibility. They call out one side for doing precisely the same thing their own side is doing. Utterly vapid.

Healthcare costs a lot of money. Good healthcare costs a ton of money. This is not rocket science, or even Economics 101.
Educating doctors and nurses is an undertaking with no shortcuts, and the investment has to pay a return.

We outsourced expensive industries, and with them, many of the the jobs that paid what it takes to support healthcare.
It takes a lot of $2-an-hour jobs to pay for a $20-an-hour physician, lots more than if it were $10-an-hour jobs.
Actually, if there aren't enough of those jobs, there isn't going to be a physician.

If only sick people paid, they'd have to move where their jobs went. Hence, Obamacare...

Trump has a plan, that over 100 of his dedicated MAGAts worked on assembling; Project 2025. It was only after the backlash to the abject fascism it represents got traction that he disavowed it, but he still praises the lead author at his rallies and appears with him.

The moderation was flawed, but not unfair. Trump simply got smoked by Harris. You could see how pissed off he was every time she criticized him.

Several times the moderators let Harris off on not answering the question. On the other hand, they repeatedly allowed Trump to speak out of turn, with the result that he spoke a lot longer than she did.

This was the big disappointment of the "debate". If we expected a reasoned discussion of the country's problems, aspirations, and some alternative plans for them, we didn't get that. The two of them took cheap shots at each other was opportunities came up, spoke warm and fuzzy like you said with no idea of how to pay for it or who would vote it in. All fog and murk, not much in the way of light and air.

Apparently there was an audience at the Harris-Trump debate . . . at least in Trump’s mind. Where is the concern over his daily age-related or dementia-driven faux pas?
