Maybe I'm just getting paranoid in my old age, and easily riled up over nothing. https://www.zerohedge.com/mark...-gun-purchases-april After all, there are a lot of other things bought at sporting goods stores, lots of t-shirts and sneakers. Actual firearms-related purchases might be needles in a big haystack. Still, I idly wonder if it might not be beneficial to pay cash for awhile. At some point the volume of sales tracked may simply overwhelm the information value. Then the idea may go the way of the 1974 seatbelt interlock... TomP Our country, right or wrong. Room there for someone to start a credit company that actually dosent care or that values privacy. It occurs to me that too much information is being collected about us all, no matter what or where we buy.

Thanks TomP. This whole ESG thing is getting out of hand. I just used my Discover card and a Bic lighter, to patch a hole in my Coleman Scanoe. (the crappie are biting here... ) Surprised this topic has such a small footprint. .

I have something ridiculous like less than a dozen background checks and about the same tax stamps, registrations, licenses, permits, passes and on. Everyone, EVERYONE! knows what I have, what I do, where I go and why. I consider myself one of the billions of serf minions that will likely slip thru Big Brother/ Skynets fingers. If not, I can move even more remote.
