I do care that a Dem DOJ say they dont enforce contempt when it's a dem in the hot seat. It all changes when it's a republican.

I hear what you're saying but "fair and equal justice" is frequently a moving target and fact intensive.

The DOJ and district attorneys all over the United States make prosecutorial decisions every single day that result in plea deals, trials and dismissals. Each case is different and ascribing political motives to the DOJ non-prosecution decisions in these cases may or may not be correct.

The Bannon subpoena sought information relating to the J6 insurrection. I don't think a subpoena designed to elicit information relating to insurrection and sedition is something that could lawfully be ignored by anyone and I don't think it was political. His failure to comply ought to result in a lot more than 4 months in the can if you ask me. He ought to sit there until he complies.
