Happy Easter folks!

I was invited to attend Easter Sunday church service, which is today. We discussed it a bit, and the guy doing the invite informed me that the sermon was sure to be about the imminent second-coming, all the ills of the culture and nation including transvestites, a nation in decline due to liberalism's vices, tribulations, pray for Trump, etc.

I politely declined the invitation and further discussion.

But for those who are True Believers, best wishes and Happy Easter. God be with you.

Churches aside;

I have supreme necessity for the Salvation made possibly the resurrection.

Celebrate as one sees fit.

However you celebrate and whatever you are celebrating (the Resurrection, Passover, or Ramadan) be blessed in it.

If the message in the following article reconciles with the messages from the pulpits across the country today, I would like to read about it.

Jesus strikes me as indispensable now as ever to the work of appealing to America’s conscience. That doesn't mean all Americans are Christians, of course.

But to the extent to which Jesus can help us find the means and language by which we can advance the cause of goodwill and forgiveness in American life, I support those who would reintroduce him to us as an avatar of the better angels of our nature.

Lord knows we need them.

I certainly don't intend to be disrespectful, in this instance, to those of Faith. I hope that you are not offended.

But I remind you that I am not guilty of conflating religion and politics, especially as self-ID.

There is no Christian holiday, ritual, celebration, etc., in America today, that I know of that isn't tied to political identity.

I didn't do that. I just point it out.

This day is a good reason for introspection and retrospection.
