More evidence you are a psycho. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. Lane Easter, DVM A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

Doesn’t sound like they said anything. They just refused cert. Hardly surprising. If they could prove (ie have a juror testify) that their contention was true, maybe they would get somewhere.

It was a bullshit argument. You got to say something when you stand on a guy's neck for ten minutes while he says he can't breathe. -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.

I didn’t realize one could still talk when they cannot breathe.

Because Floyd was dumb and intoxicated he couldn’t accurately describe his symptoms. I’ve had more than a few folks say “I can’t breathe” while panting away. Chauvin ignored a person under his control. Of course there will be consequences for that.

Were you kneeling on their necks while they were panting away? You inability to recognize meaningless/pointless analogies is odd. -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.

It means a majority of the Court did not see an issue to be heard on appeal. The Court’s arbitration of legal issues and the Jury’s factual findings are supported by sufficient admissible evidence from a legal standpoint correct. Despite the Jury refusing to accept Dr. Easter’s view of the injuries is not sufficient to upset the verdict. He is also not professionally qualified to render opinion testimony as an expert in this case. He may, as we all, give us opinion to the body politic. However, as has been demonstrated in other threads it is unfounded in logic and law.

It would depend if the knee was directly on his throat hampering airflow and panting for air, or on the side of the neck causing blood starvation to the brain and "lights out".

Your inability to see that I was essentially agreeing with you is odd. If you are able to speak, your airway is not compromised. If you are having your carotids compressed and causing decreased blood flow to the brain (been there and also seen it) it does not cause you to feel short of breath. You feel dizzy then black out. Floyd had drugs in his system and also had decreased oxygen levels which can cause loss of proper cognition. Metabolically, what your body detects to feel respiratory drive is carbon dioxide and your relative blood acidity. Just because you don’t see any anatomic damage is not definitive of a lack of foul play.

Bottom line is Floyd would almost certainly be alive today if Chauvin hadn't kneeled on him for 9 minutes. Chauvin's where he belongs. -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.

I don’t wholly agree with that… but he would have been alive after his arrest, which is really the point.
