The Freedom Caucus, MAGA, Christian Nationalist wing of the GOP (Dr. Easter’s people) led a political coup on McCarty bc he did the correct thing in reaching a bipartisan deal to fund the Government.

That minority thought they could take full control of the GOP. The girl bring to drive the GOP horse and buggy all the way over the cliff

That wing of the Party failed to take full leadership through Jim Jordan.

However, a real GOP member who stood up for right is right a right what is wrong (as Dr. Easter would say it) in Tom Emmer could not get past the nit wing. Tom Emmer has bucked President Trump’s false claims concerning the election. Tom Emmer has criticized President Trump’s role in Jan 6.

The GOP has no vision and no identity.

I was speaking to a conservative, stay at home mom the other day about this. She said, “ They need to make that Democrat Jeffries Speaker. At least, Democrats know what they are about, and will support him. We do not have a functioning Party.” She is more or less pro-Trump.

However, Rand Paul has severely upset her on his comments concerning Israel.

Just another example of how the cancer that is Trump has metastasized to all the GOP organs.

It's a brilliant strategy going into an election year, how better to convince voters to put you in charge of running everything than publicly proving over and over that you can't even govern yourselves?

Agree, agree, agree.

MAGA Republicans have destroyed my Party and left themselves no "policy" except full-Fascism to gain power, and they have such disrespect for The Constitution and Democracy that they don't mind destroying America in the process.

The American people have to turn their backs on Republican Fascism and vote Democrat, until Trump and MAGA are dead and gone.

The GOP has morphed into nothing but a complaint feast.

They offer no legislative solutions. They just create and magnify cultural divisions.

Screaming no is not policy.

If anyone is doing cultural divisions it’s Democrats
If you can’t see it then there is no help for you and you have law degree?

Rubbish.

It is these MAGA fools that have divided our country.

The same assholes that are trying to turn the clock back to the 1950's. The vast majority of America wants none of what they are selling.

Once you decide that character and integrity do not matter, you have lost your moral compass. It is not surprising that the GOP has no soul or identity . . . or frankly any direction.

The democrats likewise have no soul or real identity, either.

What are the similarities between a Talib and Manchen?

The GOP does have issues. They have a cult of personality going on with Trump, a group that are classic conservatives, and a group that are conservative, but consider themselves more pragmatic and try and support the cult of personality types out of a belief that a small part of what you want is better than voting for the side that has little in common with you.

Substitute liberal for conservative and that description fits the democrats as well.

Most voters are relatively few issue voters. They tend to vote on those items. So far, the democrats have been better at convincing people they will give them more of what they want.

Democrats can pick a Speaker.

Democrats are not engaging in racial gerrymandering in defiance of the Supreme Court.

Democrats do not call gay people abominations and disgusting perverts.

Democrats are not here defending states forcing children to give birth to their rapist’s child.

Democrats are not pushing policies that see hospitals send women having miscarriage Ms home to finish bleeding out and becoming sterile.

Democrats are not trying to take away contraception access. Democrats are not making excuses for Jan 6 and the President’s responsibility to affect a peaceful transfer of power.

Tailb and Manchin believe in keeping the nation’s commitment to our work force through Social Security. Something Republicans in the House and one in the Senate has already stated he wants to end.

Talib sounds a lot like Rand Paul on Israel.

It has been for years. Anyone that doesn't see it, just doesn't want to!
