There are still optimists. Some Leftists predict that the Trump(ism) era will lead to a longer-term progressive era. Backlash maybe. Are they realists? I hope so. That's the only outcome that's worth the pain of Trumpism. One thing for sure, the true nature/character of far-Rightists extremism has been exposed, raw. It's been there all along, fomenting. It's somewhat encouraging that there are a few herein who self ID as conservative. And they are not on-board with Trumpism. I think they represent on-scale, proportionately, as a % of the whole population.
