President Trump spoke this morning, he addressed the nation about the air collision over the Potomac last night. For about one minute. Then he launched into a diatribe about how badly Biden messed up the ATC system and how he had fixed it before and would do so again. The point is, there is a time for personal aggrandizement (actually there is no suitable time for that, but he needs it) but on the heels of a tragedy isn't it.
As with his first term in office, what Trump needs more than anything is to have someone to tell him when to shut the hell up. Nobody expects him to have any class, but maybe he can at least not look stupid.
There is no way that his performance looks anything but bad, except I suppose to the die hard Trumpteers, who will accept anything he does. Anyway, just another cringeworthy performance from the nation's leader. Regards, Bill

Did you hear about how all the trees survived the California fires? They’re soaking wet. They don’t burn. The bottoms got a little brown (or charred, or some other dumb shit), but the trees are ok. He even talked people who live in forests. People from Austria and Finland. They have trees that are four times more flammable, they rake up the leaves over there. Puffy Daddy says the issue was a diversity hiring issue even though the controller warned the helicopter of the traffic. And they are both in the same press conference. Hegseth is correct. That has been reported on CNN.

It appears to me the ATC did the right thing from the audio I heard and experts interviewed. The helicopter did not.
