That's likely why they want to "investigate" Jan, 06 so they can see if they are targeted for indictment and somehow try to quash it.

The guilty have done everything they can think of to quash it - all of "it", anyway, by any means. It's "the end justifies the means".

That's why it's so important that they lose.

It's also so important that the "means" of their loss (end) happens under what Saeed calls our pseudo-democracy.

That's the loaded word.

In my view, these people are not just manipulating. That's too kind of a word. They are corrupt to the core and are trying to twist the system for their goals and to cover up some stuff.

First, on 1/6, before and after, they tried to destroy a system that they despise, yet they claim to love and made oath to protect.

This is why I think they should lose and lose big, and be held accountable by the system, the secular rule of law, that they loath so much, with objective evidence and facts.

I don’t condone Jan 6, or Trumps behavior, however, that’s not the point. What I’m talking about is when all the investigations are done, and still there are no charges filed, will YOU finally realize that all those investigations are simple political theater? In other words, all of this is designed to keep folks like you all riled up. Just wondering how long before you realize it? And, when you do, will you care?

Yes, when I know, hopefully I will care. But there is a time limit.

And another thing - I have been of the opinion that not all are political theater, if you define that as farce or with ulterior motive - other than stated or empowered.

The 1/6 investigation for example is one which I think is not ulterior or farce, but has aspects of political theater, not by design or intent but that's the reality.

IMO, there is no such thing as "simple" political theater. Even the multiple GOPer Benghazi investigations has aspects beyond theater, although that was the primary goal. It was weaponized power to quasi-investigate to harm political opponent through the development of a preconceived narrative.

Jordon's committee is all farce, ulterior, and theater, and corrupt IMO, and they are lying about it. The title they gave the committee is a farce to start with.

Maybe they should have named it "select committee for the alt-reality (art) of transforming perpetrators into victims, or heros. And winning votes with that narrative.

I’ve done without at times when things end up like that… but I’ve also swallowed my indignation as well at times.

I’ve been known to pick through the ammo pile at the gun shops and buy the older ones with the 2-3 bucks a box lower prices on them.

Last time I did that, they tried to charge the higher price, and I told them to keep them.

Seems some on the left are displaying their hypocrisy again.

When it was Trump, it was congress’ duty to investigate anything they felt pertinent in their opinion.

Now the house is under the party that they investigated for their political theater, and when payback comes due, it appropriate for the government to obstruct.

I tend to agree that this is much ado for political theater by Jordan et al, but what’s good for the goose…

Well, Doc, I think considering J. Jordon anything even remotely the antonym of malfeasance is misguided. And considering him to have parallels on the left is false too.
