I fully expect to be poorer by the end of this governments term. I don't like it, but I view it as a fair trade off for getting rid of some of the more repellant long term pro Brexit knuckle draggers in the last government.

When people start putting the property of this country above their own and their parties interests I will be a lot happier... but Im not holding my breath.

Yep, the govts own figures are that Brexit has done 4% damage to our GDP.

Yet the Brexit Supporters, a big chunk of whom are in the lower paid section of our society, want more public services, more benefits and less tax. They just don’t have the brain cells to join the dots of damage to the economy = less government money = lower public spent on services.
