I cannot out do you on here calling yourself a conservative when it is well documented even in this thread that you are a flaming liberal. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. Who told you that you get to decide who is conservative and who isn't? My experience has been that principled conservatives are typically not bigots and racists. I can remember a time when they were mostly unconcerned with cultural issues like abortion...smaller government, less regulation, lower taxes were the important issues..... until the nuts like you took it over and required fealty to your bizarre belief that white conservative males should decide whether a woman ought to have a baby. And, who have now decided that unless they bow before your Orange Jesus, they can't be conservative. Bullshit. -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.

I will take President Regan’s position; When you pass a spending measure, pass a funding measure to pay for it. We have long, legislative mandates that we must fulfill.

Fair, but the articulation is still true. Let us not forget President Eisenhower signed a tax increase. Government must function.
