There is a credible threat from Iran. Iran certainly doesn't want to change out Biden. Biden gave them billions to fund the terrorism that is happening in Israel and the Gulf. And this kid has foreign accounts that are encrypted, so it's possible. Also note he followed Biden and members of the Royal family, so he may have just been a nutjob that wanted to kill somebody famous and didn't care who.

Crooks was a registered Republican according to reports I've heard.

Anyone can register as anything. When I lived in South Texas, I was a registered Democrat because all the local elections were decided in the Democratic primary. But I have never voted for a Democrat in any statewide or national election and won't do it in any local election ever again.
