I still haven't seen any response to this. Perhaps the outrage over political murders isn't genuine if you're only going to go wild when it's one of your own.
Equally horrible and not a peep out of the right here on ARPF about those murders.
Politically motivated violence is wrong, no matter who commits it or what party they support.
Terrible what happened in both MN and UT.

theback40I remember reading here about the MN lawmakers. I hadnt heard until I saw it. I cant remember all of it, but many commenting on going to someones home to kill them and spouse was terrible. This was done on several topic heading at the time.
I had heard on CK, never listened to him.
What I have seen of the guy the news has shown, he was not disrespectful to people. He was a quick thinker, and stumped folks he interacted with one on one.

Magine EnigamAn analogy:
Years ago, a lesbian explained to me why she liked a large dildo. She said she needed something to push against for a better gush.
So, consider the Left as The Rights' dildo. The bigger in their imagination, the better the hate gush.
Kirk wouldn't have had a platform for hate gushing if not for the imaginary well lubed Leftist monster.
So, Jeffe represents the Right's love/hate relationship with his imaginary leftist dildo.

Well, actually, I think that post explains it.
Roland thinks it's a victim syndrome. I think it's deeper than that and more scary.
I think the shooter was a crazy person who deserves the full force of the rule of law, and doesn't represent a political ideology at all.
OTOH, the HATE from the Right does represent their ideology, crazy too but on a larger scale.
blah blah blah -- maggot .. scum .. it's a lefty psycho that killed charlie . and your pathetic self wan'ts to argue about it ...
it costs you NOTHING to STFU -- you might save your ebt

Most likely the shooter is a victim of his own delusions. It's not much different compared to the Rightist's delusions prompting the hate and blame in their us vs them cult.
I’m glad you quoted that since I have Jeff on ignore. What an absolutely juvenile and asinine string of rubbish vitriol. Ironic, have a conversation about hate speech encouraging irrational behavior, some nitwit uses actual hate speech in the conversation. Such great behavior by a “moderator”. Pathetic.

But we aren't "one people" are we?
The truth is we haven't been for some time now, and there is really no point in pretending anymore, if there ever was.
We are two very different peoples. We may occupy the same piece of geography, but that is where the similarities seem to abruptly end.
I convinced myself for a long time that whenever the left called me a racist, a bigot, a sexist, a fascist, a "threat to democracy" for even the most innocent of disagreements, that it was simply hyperbolic rhetoric done for effect.
And now the "effect" is a widow and two orphaned children, because the left couldn’t bear the thought of a peaceful man debating them and winning.
I don’t think they realize it yet, but murdering Charlie is going to be remembered as the day where we finally woke up to what this fight really is.
It’s not a civil dispute among fellow countrymen. It’s a war between diametrically opposed worldviews which cannot peacefully coexist with one another. One side will win, and one side will lose.
Charlie tried to win that fight through argumentation, through discussion, through peaceful resolution of differences.
And the other side murdered him.
Not because he was “extreme” or “inciting violence” or any other hyperbolic slur they hurled at him. They murdered him because he was effective. Because he was unafraid. Because he inspired others and made them feel like they had a voice, that they were not alone. And he did it at the very institutions which have fomented so much hatred toward conservatives.
I don’t want to “stand in solidarity” with the other side of the aisle. I want to defeat you. I want to defeat the godless ideology that kills babies in the womb, sterilizes confused children, turns our cities into cesspools of degeneracy and lawlessness…and that murdered Charlie Kirk.
Social media is aflame right now with leftist celebration of Charlie’s death.
I wonder if any among them understand what has just happened. If there is a Yamamoto somewhere in their midst warning, that all they have done is awoken a sleeping giant.
I doubt it. I think they gave up such introspection and self-awareness long ago.
I don’t know exactly what will happen next. I just know that it won’t be the same as what has happened in the past.
There will be thoughts and prayers…Charlie would have wanted prayers. Not for himself but for those left behind and for the country that he loved.
But then there will be a reckoning.
My Christian faith requires me to love my enemies and pray for those who curse me. It does not require me to stand idly by in the midst of savagery and barbarism...quite the opposite.
So every time I feel tired, every time I feel discouraged or overwhelmed, I am going to watch the video of a good man being murdered in Utah…I will force myself to watch it…and then I will return to the work of destroying the evil ideology responsible for that and so much more.
Rest with God Charlie, your fight is over.

Steve BertramWhat you fail to recognize is that hate and violence take place on both sides of the political spectrum. The right hating the left is no better or no worse than the left hating the right.
Look in the mirror....maybe realize that the problem is not a single faceted as you would like it to be.

Magine EnigamYes, Steve, I agree.
This time I agree with the "both sides" thing.
Thanks for pointing that out. Sorta obvious ain't it.
Mostly I was poking

at Jeffee.
I've been reading the latest news about this to gain perspective.
I didn't find anything from "normal" media buying into the Right's jump to conclusions and justifications for their hate.
All the sources I visited condemned the murder.
Do you know, as of this morning, they don't know who did it nor the motive. Yet the Right "knows" the Left did it and the motive.
And BTW, I support the post saying "Long Live Free Speech".
It doesn't matter whether I agree with a Rightist provoker.
This murder is sickening and sick.
From what I've read, Kirk provoked and was good at it. That's not necessarily bad. It could be good, but not so good if it is a form of affirmation of hate.
Given the reaction right now it looks like the Right lost a source of affirmation, perhaps the only source that had intellectual qualities.
But their reaction isn't intellectual. It's emotional, as usual.
Anyway:
What do you call someone who provokes?
AI Overview
Someone who provokes can be called an agitator, a provocateur, an instigator, a firebrand, or a rabble-rouser, depending on the context. Other terms include troublemaker, mischief-maker, and inciter.
Here's a breakdown of some common terms:
Provocateur:
A person who deliberately stirs up trouble, causes dissension, or incites others to action.
Instigator:
Someone who deliberately foments trouble or starts something, often a quarrel or fight.
Agitator:
A person who stirs up opposition or trouble, often in a political context.
Firebrand:
Someone who is passionately radical, especially in politics, and seeks to incite others.
Rabble-rouser:
A person who stirs up people by exciting them with strong emotions, often leading them to action.
Troublemaker:
A general term for someone who causes trouble or problems.
Inciter:
A person who encourages or stimulates someone to do or feel something, especially something bad or illegal.

Our youth are not dumb. They are inquisitive and curious and have an intuition to know what’s wrong and that’s right and when something simply doesn’t make sense.
We do not give them enough credit, yet Charlie gave them the mic!
Whether you agree with Charlie Kirk or not is a moot point.
Every day he modeled dialogue that is hard to find these days
He showed up
He asked questions
He answered every person who comes up to the mic (without censorship or cherry picking)
He was kind
He was respectful
He was patient
He was articulate
He held to his convictions
He knew where he stood and could point back to it every single time without wavering
He was doing the job WE ALL SHOULD—
Modeling respectful dialogue and disagreement in a time where very little exists.

Wouldn't it be great that his legacy really was a turning point?
Turn away from the abyss, not into it.
Yet it's clear to see from some posts and quotes that's not what's happening with his and Trump's base. They embrace the abyss.

did charlie kirk say it's ok to stone gays and minorities, non Christians
Conservative political commentator Charlie Kirk never explicitly stated that it is okay to stone gay people, minorities, or non-Christians. However, reports indicate that he has used biblical references to imply that homosexuality is an "abomination" deserving of death, though he did not directly call for violence.
Interpreting Kirk's comments
Controversial biblical interpretations: A Hindu article on Kirk's recent assassination states that he "famously cited Leviticus: 18 from the Bible, implying the gay community should be, 'stoned to death'". The use of such scripture has been widely interpreted as a call for violence by his critics, though Kirk never explicitly endorsed it.
Criticism of LGBTQ+ community: Kirk routinely criticized what he called the "LGBTQ agenda" and claimed it was harming children. He also supported Supreme Court rulings that legalized discrimination against LGBTQ+ individuals and called for "Nuremberg-style trials" for doctors providing gender-affirming care.
Anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim rhetoric: Kirk frequently promoted anti-immigrant views and used inflammatory rhetoric against Muslims. A day before his death, he posted on social media that "Islam is the sword the left is using to slit the throat of America". He also promoted unfounded notions that Islam was "conquering" Western countries through migration.
Views on racial issues: The Al Jazeera news service reports that Kirk had, on some occasions, criticized the Civil Rights Movement and the Black Lives Matter movement. He was also documented as promoting the "Great Replacement" conspiracy theory.

TomPHoly shit what a thread. Kirk is hardly cold on a slab before it starts, and no one has been arrested to tell us why it was done. Granted, a political dispute is pretty likely (No Shit Sherlock), but there is no admissible evidence to warrant this outpouring of vitriol among fellow recreational shooters. We might remember who shot Malcom X, and why.
Universities are sacred places, as much as churches, schools, hospitals, and nuclear power plants. This is a place where we hash things out and speak ideas that can't be aired around a card table. This shooting is utterly out of place, and unacceptable to civilized society regardless of motive. I do not support the death penalty but empathize with those who do, in this case.

During a 2016 campaign rally, Donald Trump made a controversial comment that was widely interpreted as suggesting that "Second Amendment people" could act to stop Hillary Clinton from appointing judges.
The comment and its context:
At the rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, on August 9, 2016, Trump made the following statements:
"Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment." This was a recurring claim by Trump, though inaccurate.
"If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks".
He added, "Although the Second Amendment people—maybe there is, I don't know".
Reactions to the comment:
Widespread criticism: The comment was immediately condemned by Democrats and others, who accused Trump of inciting violence against Clinton.
Secret Service response: The U.S. Secret Service, responsible for protecting presidential candidates, acknowledged awareness of Trump's comments.
Hillary Clinton's response: Clinton stated that Trump's remarks "crossed the line," calling them dangerous and highlighting that words can have serious consequences.
Defense by Trump campaign: Trump and his campaign denied the comment was a call for violence. They claimed he referred to the political power and unity of gun rights supporters as a voting bloc.
Varied interpretations: While the campaign insisted the comment was purely political, some of Trump's supporters said they liked that he spoke "off-the-cuff," and some prominent Republicans, such as Paul Ryan, called the comment "a joke gone bad" and said one "should never joke about that".

Excerpt:
As the search for the suspect continued, President Donald Trump and prominent MAGA personalities sought to tie the killing to Democratic political rhetoric.
On Thursday, Trump announced he will posthumously award Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom, saying he was a "giant of his generation."
In a video posted to social media on Wednesday, Trump said, "It's a long past time for all Americans and the media to confront the fact that violence and murder are the tragic consequence of demonizing those with whom you disagree." (That's some serious irony)
"For years, those on the radical Left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis and the world's worst mass murderers and criminals," he added. "This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism that we're seeing in our country today, and it must stop right now."
Trump's son Eric, meanwhile, told Fox News' Sean Hannity he was "sick and tired of seeing the bullets -- they are only going one way." ===============================================
The use of the word "terrorism" has specific context:
https://www.google.com/search?...-zSznadYKCNQ&csuir=1Stephen Miller says democrats are terrorists
On August 25, 2025, during an appearance on Fox News, Stephen Miller described the Democratic Party as a "domestic extremist organization". He further alleged that the party was "devoted exclusively to the defense of hardened criminals, gang-bangers, and illegal alien killers and terrorists". This rhetoric is consistent with Miller's past promotion of white nationalist ideas and his influence on restrictive immigration policies during the Trump administration.

This is spot on. We don't know who the shooter is yet so it is pure speculation on his/her motive. I said his/her on purpose because we do not know if the shooter is a male, female or somewhere in beteen, we don't know if they are democrat or republican or neither, we don't know if they are black, white or purple, we don't know if they are Chistian or Muslim or Hindu! We know absolutely nothing so blaming one party trying to pin in on any faction is just wrong.
The perfect example of jumping to conclusions is the idiot kid who tried to shoot Trump during the election. everyone was blaming the democrats and it turned out that he was a republican. Crazy demented people come in all sizes shapes and political views!

After all, those who don't see the serious irony in that statement from Trump are not only Kirk's base but also the same people who bought into this:

The guy who found out for himself there was no democrat child sex-trafficking org operating out of the basement has been shot by police.
Some people never learn.
https://www.google.com/search?...sclient=gws-wiz-serpAI Overview
No, Comet Ping Pong, the pizzeria at the center of the Pizzagate conspiracy theory, does not have a basement. This was confirmed by the Metropolitan Police Department, the restaurant's owner, and numerous fact-checking organizations.
The basement was a central element of the fake conspiracy theory, which alleged that Democratic Party officials were running a child sex-trafficking ring out of the nonexistent basement. In 2016, a man who believed the false story drove to the restaurant and fired an assault rifle inside while searching for the supposed underground tunnels.

Never heard squat about the stalker with the rifle at the golf course either. Never saw his name. Best just get it tucked away. If Kirk's shooter turns out the same it will die just as quickly. And I have to agree with him on that one
The replacements have been going on as long as human kind had been around and it’s been going around as we speak
It’s not necessarily right but given us being humans, we are built that way and every generations it flares up thus the saying “ the stronger will survive and conquer “ and then someone else comes to the top once the strong ones get weak
Never been lost, just confused here and there for month or two
