The idiots at the Pentagon.

Now you know why the USA struggles with winning a war.

A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

"Training manuals for its 8,000 teachers advise that Thanksgiving feasts have no historical basis and that America was founded on land 'stolen' from natives."

Uhhh....this is a true statement.

My Lakota friends and I have nice chat about it every year over Turkey.....then we go back to the fun stuff, hunting.

My good friend was asked once by a very nice, extremely liberal hunting client of his what his thoughts were on the way his people had been treated by the white man, in his typical deeply profound manner he replied "Shit happens" Big Grin

Tue story....one of many.

Did anyone ask how the Lakota treated the tribes that they conquered???

That could be a "turnabout is fair play" moment.....

Tue world is nothing but a long history of tribes conquering other tribes. Later it was done by Nations/States.

It came up once with a Native American guy I used to work with.

His answer “Guess we should have fought better. Since you won’t the beers on you today White Man”.
