Where is the call for Americans to insist that they be given something other than a Scylla and Charybdis choice? Sure Biden sucks. But the answer is someone else that sucks? If ever there was a time for a third party choice, this is it.

Yes, and you have already declared you will waste your vote in the primary on a write in candidate to clear your conscience to vote for who you have really wanted to win all along . . . the equally sucking alternative to Biden. Our problem is that we allow stupid people that have been poisoned by far left and right ideologies to vote, yourself included.

Neither Biden or Trump are capable of remembering what they had for lunch, with any degree of accuracy. Either that, or they both lie continually. Which do most people think it is?
The one consistency is that supporters on both sides are plainly in denial. One acquaintance of mine told me, "I'm pretty sure it's all an act. Trump isn't really that stupid". It is not an act.
My democrat acquaintances say, "Clips of Biden are shown out of context. He's not really that confused". He is that confused.
We have to be approaching the saddest election campaign the country has ever seen. How can a nation survive something like this? It seems like America has dug herself into a hole from which she cannot escape.
Having said this, I'm kind of interested in seeing how a debate can be shown. I mean, there are two candidates, and neither will be able to understand a question or his opponent's response. I think Trump will have a real advantage though. He might say stupid stuff, but he is way more likely to know what city he's speaking from. Joe is more likely to walk into a closet while trying to find the stage.
At some point, putting Joe on stage, and expecting him to perform, borders on senior abuse. Sometimes, it's hard to watch.
Ronald Reagan was suffering from a noticeable decline, mentally, by halfway through his second term, but he wasn't as bad as Joe appears to be now. I really do think it is a sad situation. Regards, Bill.

Agreed. Yet we have people on this forum that openly say they support or will support Trump and Biden. It’s absolute lunacy. While folks should be rallying around Haley and someone as an alternative to Biden on the Dem side, both sides are prepared to double down on the idiocy that got us to this point in the first place.

Let me ask you Mike…who is going to win the GOP primary in Texas?

I know the answer already.

By the time Super Tuesday comes around there will be no other viable option. Thus…my vote won’t be wasted.

Further, I would submit ‘you’ are the stupid voter as you refuse to stay on the side of the better option for America.

If the Texas Primary looks close at the time…I will vote for the second place candidate. But, as you know, it won’t be.

Maybe because there is NO other viable option. 2020

If you can’t see that simply having the (D) out of executive control is the better option…I would say there is no hope for you.

The objective for thinking people should be to displace the (D) from executive control by whatever means we have available. A “wasted” vote to me would be one not the best placed to accomplish that objective.

But Mike said it first so let us hear his definition.

Nonsense. The stock market, the economy, and the inflation rate have all been favorable.

I don't see the imminent collapse your doom-saying predicts.

You and I are in alignment on this issue. I truly wish there were somebody else that could win, in BOTH primaries.

However, there isn't. That said, we have a binary choice between furthering what we are seeing now, or going back to MAGA. MAGA means more chaos, more party fighting, more division.

Given those two choices, I'll pick Trump. That doesn't mean I like it. He's a loud, bombastic, egomaniacal narcissist. But the tracks he leaves after leaving office are far less damaging than the current path we are on.

Anyone that disagree's that Oct 7 would not have happened, Ukraine would not have happened, the Chinese on the cusp of a Taiwan invasion, complete chaos on the border with Trump as POTUS, is simply lying to themselves and being intellectually dishonest.

Who would be my perfect candidate? I can't put a name to it right now. But this person would FIRST understand that he (or she) needs to be the President for ALL Americans. He needs to be able to accept compromise, listen to every American, not just half.

Whenever I say this, the Liberals in here scoff it off, but..."We as Americans, have far more in common than that which divides us". We have allowed our political leaders to successfully divide us and hate each other.

Well written, and I agree.

The way the media.....and the Democrat party rabidly work to destroy the opposition, in name, in reputation through lies and half truths how are we ever going to get a noble, true type to ever even run is beyond me.......
