jeffeossoVenus probe to fall to earth
Russia launched this satellite 53 years ago, it failed to Deorbit and has been circling the earth in a decaying orbit and will fall to earth in an uncontrolled crash.
Normally this wouldn't be an issue, as most birds tear up on reentry, except this is an armored probe, meant to withstand and land in the hell that Venus atmosphere

Mike MitchellI wonder how much it will weigh after re-entering the atmosphere. 150 mph seems slow since most satellites orbit the earth at 7,000 mph and up to 17,500 mph. I get that the density of the atmosphere will slow it down but 150 mph?
Im hoping it hits the Kremlin ...

It's called "limiting velocity" when air resistance and gravity work to cancel each other out. I thought it was closer to 180 mph.
