Will Trump even make it to November 5th?

If he somehow wins and expires before January, what then? A "Vice President-Elect" is not in the Constitutional line of succession, so I guess as the Presiding Officer Kamala Harris would have to decide if electoral votes for an expired candidate are valid.

The short answer is that he won't. He has no interest in actually doing the job.

He's about as interested in doing it now as he was 4 years ago.
