Okay, what Federal Law requires State or local officials to enforce Federal Law or regulations, and whence comes the authority to impose such requirements?

In your world can a local cop or district attorney file charges in Federal court or charge Federal crimes in local or State court?

The only part that I saw in the article that didn't meet Walter Cronkite's standards (that's the way it is):

"We are taking steps to protect Americans," Bondi said, adding that "New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens."

And it was a quote apparently reported correctly.

Otherwise, what's your problem?

There is one significant factor that no one is considering.

That's Stephen Miller.

He's the Gríma Wormtongue of the WH and the lawfare, now that Bannon is out. Bondi is probably acting upon his consult and/or directive. Miller is smarter than Bannon anyway. He knows how to work quietly behind the scenes.

My sarcastic comment about Trumps NY conviction(s) should be obvious. You guys were all 100% on board to prosecute a former President, over a misdemeanor that was SoL'd out and a loan that no one complained about.

You are wrong, she is standing there lying, there were no "charges" filed, just a civil suit.

And it would be nice to have an Attorney General who knew the difference between "filing charges", a criminal process, and filing a lawsuit, a civil matter.

34 felony convictions adjudicated in a court of law. Anybody else would be in prison. Where those Jan 6 criminals should still be.
