He says he doesn’t need Canada. That we’re a burden. That we’re taking advantage of the U.S.

Then he says he wants us to be a state. That we should be American. That we should fall in line.

So which is it? Are we worthless, or are we so valuable that he wants to claim us?

You can’t insult us, dismiss us, and then demand to own us. That’s called hypocrisy. And ridiculous.

He slapped Canada with 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum, treating us like an enemy while only imposing 10% tariffs on China, the country fueling the fentanyl crisis.

He claimed Canada was ripping off the U.S. in trade, despite the reality that the U.S. runs a trade surplus with Canada in many key sectors, including services.

He dismissed Canada as unimportant, and not viable, yet his own economy depends on our energy, our minerals, and our trade.

And today, he called us ‘nasty’ while insisting we were meant to be American. Meanwhile, Canada consistently ranks among the top countries in the world for quality of life, safety, and having the nicest, friendliest people. Imagine calling that ‘nasty.’”

Canada isn’t a bargaining chip for the U.S. with Russia, or anyone else. We’re not a piece of real estate up for grabs. We’re a sovereign nation with immense value, resources, and global influence, and we’re not the country collecting travel advisories from around the world.

And we’re not for sale, annexing or him ridiculing. We fought back in 1812, and we’re happy to do it again if necessary.

They are not that dumb, at least none of the ones I've met.

Overall we are not that dumb, however, we have a fair number of rabid Trump supporters that believe EVERYTHING that comes out of OJ's mouth. He could claim the moon is made out of cheese and they would believe it completely because OJ said it was so therefor it must be the gospel truth! It is no different than a number of people on this forum that are so deep in in the Trump cult that you can not even have a rational conversation with them. If you talk to rational Montanans not Trump people by far the majority like and respect our northern friends and would like nothing more than to get back to the normal.
