At some point, an airline employee approached the man about his shirt.

They told him that someone had complained and that he must change his shirt or he would not be permitted to board, the Reddit user explained.

'He turned his shirt inside out, and we all boarded,' SKBeachGirl wrote.

'Next thing I know, right before takeoff, a Delta employee comes on the plane and escorts him off the flight,' they continued.

'He had flipped his shirt back to the decal side,' the Reddit user revealed.

According to Delta's contract of carriage, the airline reserves the right to refuse transportation to an individual when their attire 'creates an unreasonable risk of offense or annoyance to other passengers.'

Does Emirates have a similar policy? Will they tolerate a passenger not complying with staff instructions?

First of all, this was done because ONE person complained.

Personally, I don't like stupid idiots displaying their political agenda.

This was not a governmental action, so the form of government is immaterial. It was a private company enforcing clear rules that were available to the asshole before he bought a ticket, and he still could have flown if he hadn't just had to toss a "Fuck You" to the crew by turning the shirt back around after boarding.

The First Amendment guarantees a right to be an asshole in public, but it doesn't extend to private property, like an airliner or a store. They can absolutely insist you go be an asshole somewhere else.

I realize that you just want something to piss on the U.S. over but this is weak sauce.

Jeff,

In all honesty, I for one wish nothing of the stupid things going on in your country on anyone.

And it certainly does not give any pleasure.

I am not picking on your system.

YOU have brought this upon yourselves.

In fact, you have become the laughing stock of the whole world.

Yesterday we were out in the desert with friends.

I think we were from 15 different nationalities.

Conversation went to what is going on in the UK, that it has been taken over by a bunch of commies, because the previous so called "conservatives" fucked it up.

Without exception, every single one said they HATE so called "democracy" being applied in the West!

America came in first as a perfect example! rotflmo

Oh, he did turn it to get on the plane, then turned it back as a direct "Fuck You" to the airline staff and crew.

Should get his ass banned from the airline.

How many of those 15 nationalities did ya'll beg for help when Saddam took Kuwait and the only thing between the Republican Guard and your pampered asses was three Saudi Boy Scout troops and your own Cub Scouts.

And us.

So what are the alternatives to a western style democracy? Of the 15 people you were with from differing countries how many of them had something better?

The conservatives here were kicked out because they were dishonest, time after time, people were sick of it. Do I like the new lot, not particularly, but I’d choose someone with a bit of integrity even if I didn’t agree with all of thier policies over a scumbag who promises to cut my taxes.

That said I’d pick up and move to other places in Europe tomorrow if I could.

Strangely I can’t think of a country which is a dictatorship I’d rush to move to. I quite like Oman but it too bloody hot.

I must have missed where America is duty bound to defend and pay for the defense of Kuwait. Is Kuwait part of America? Do we have a mutual defense agreement with Kuwait? Why on earth should the American taxpayer fund defense for one of the wealthiest countries in the world? Maybe if the "rulers" there put less in the royal coffers and actually paid to fund a functioning military the Kuwaitis would not need America to defend them. Does that story sound familiar Saeed?

Care to explain that? Your oil is not THAT important.

I think it might be your lot that would go bankrupt were you fund a military large enough to defend yourselves. We both know that funding is not the real issue with the UAE's pathetic military though, the real issue is, how do you get the Emeriti youth out of the clubs and pubs in Londonstan and into the UYAE's military? You can't, that is why you are unable to defend your own parched piece of sand.

beer To the brave Emeriti youth, tirelessly fighting for one more round of ale and another night at the raves!

We saved your sorry asses, granted, likely a mistake.

I see you are making good progress on the famine you are sponsoring in Sudan.

It does beg a question, why doesn't your lot just mind its own business?

Has the UAE EVER done anything useful? We could ask the Sudanese, but they are just little people whose lives really don't matter that much.

Please Saeed, tells us of the great Emeriti contributions to the world in the last 800 years or so. Not much to brag about from what I can see.

Well, the Arabs have contributed enormously to the advisor medicine, geography, mathematics etc.

It mind do you good to read history, to enlighten your narrow minds, which have been corrupted by Hollywood.

I specifically stated in the last 800 years or so. Not much good coming out of the Arab world since the 1300's or so. I'm well aware of the historical contributions of the Arab world, I was asking about the positive contributions as of late. Not too much from what I see.

How did your "military", which is the size of a small village, do against the Houthi's? How long was it that you lasted? Less than two months if memory serves. It is not really your fault though, things might be different for your lot if you could reel your youth back in from the debauchery taking place in the UK. That won't happen though, your country will still be pleading to the American taxpayer to bail you out because you are not able to do it on your own.

beer to the brave Emeriti youth, tirelessly fighting for more ale and an eternal party!

The ones made in 1300's or before, none in the last 800 years or so.

Now days what is on offer? Jihad? Famine? I'm still holding out for you to bring pestilence to the Sudanese. flame

The ideas of these two men, bringing together the mathematical learning of ancient India, travelled first to the Arab world, then far to the west, giving us not only crucial mathematical concepts such as zero, but the very form of the numbers we use today...

It was they who perfected the numeral system in use around the world, arguably the nearest thing the human race has to a universal language; yet in the west, we attribute our numerals to the Arabs from whom we borrowed them, not the Indians who actually invented them.

If ya'll were so advanced you wouldn't have to hire outsiders to maintain every piece of equipment in your Countries more complicated than a spoon.

I will grant you, however, some of the best goat herding techniques have come from the Arab world.

Glad you finally can see the truth!

Even at a simple task as goat herding, WE ARE BETTER THAN YOU!

The innovation of using a stick to make your arm appear longer to a goat could, admittedly, have only come from the Arab mind. Probably the only superior stick technology anywhere is in the Far East where they use two sticks to pick up one grain of rice and one stick to pick up two buckets of shit.

Does Emirates have a similar policy? Will they tolerate a passenger not complying with staff instructions?

First of all, this was done because ONE person complained.

Personally, I don't like stupid idiots displaying their political agenda.

Second, we are NOT a democracy!

It is you bloody loud lot who never stop telling us how FREE you are.

It got to the point to your FREEDON has got you to choose between Trump and Kamala!

Bloody hell!

Not even Hollyweird could have dreamt of this! rotflmo

America came in first as a perfect example! rotflmo

How many of those 15 nationalities did ya'll beg for help when Saddam took Kuwait and the only thing between the Republican Guard and your pampered asses was three Saudi Boy Scout troops and your own Cub Scouts.

And us.

You may choose to forget that your entire existence was dependent on us saving your ass but we haven't.

But except when ya'll want help we're supposed to "mind our own business" and can't beat rice farmers and goat herders.

He wasn't worried!all the Royals hauled ass to england!!!! clap

Fascinating discussion this.

Trying to make sense to people who have been brain washed by Hollyweird that they are living in the ONLY country in the world that has any freedoms.

While in fact they are living on the edge of being a glorified third world country!

Imagine a country with over 300 millions people, split in half fighting each other on who they should pick to rule over them.

And out of those millions, they pick a career criminal, coward nick named Cadet Bone Spur, and a women who cannot even speak properly!

Mrs Commie Word Salad and now with a pretend foreign accent!

The mind TRULY BOGGLES!

Well, if our professional diplomacy department (Department of State) hadn’t violated standards of diplomatic conduct and told Saddam that what he did in Kuwait would not be in our nation’s concern, then maybe we wouldn’t have de facto encouraged Saddam to invade, and then have a moral obligation to fix our error.

And, no, it wasn’t a democrat who did that. It was the administration of a long service bureaucrat. GHW Bush.

I respected the man, and thought he had some good policies, but his compromises and appeasement attitudes certainly hurt us in the Middle East.

Then his son let his personal concerns have us consider Iraq as it an issue as Al Qida and made a nation building decision out of what should have at best been a punitive expedition.

Bush Senior did what he was paid to do.

He got Saddam out of Kuwait, and got out.

Then Chimpy was installed in the White House.

He was too stupid to think for himself, so Cheney put a noose around his neck, and ordered him to invade Iraq again.

Because Cheney was being paid by the military industry, who could not care less about American lives, or any lives for that matter.

They turned the Middle East to a heave for ISIS! jumping
