But, since Trump is well down the list he didn't get the memo that President Elon had deleted his Tweet that gave away too much...

Why invest, train, educate American workers for good jobs when you can import them on the cheap.

A few years ago I was at a wedding reception at a nice hotel/restaurant.
There were several middle European girls waiting tables. I didnt know anyone at my table, so I talked to the girls.
They were college kids, in hospitality and business in their country. The college set up for them to come here to "learn the trade from American perspective"
It sounded to me like the college farmed them out on student visa's and got what pay they would have made as part of their "classes".

And they are indentured servants, if the employer pulls their "sponsorship" their visas are invalid.

that was likely a J-1 visa situation and it's a VERY frequent usage -- Branson, MO, runs on these during "high season", and i expect many other tourist-y areas do, as well

Thousands of college kids from other countries use these in the summer to get to America. Most of these are service industry jobs. I think many are hired at places like Disney and other theme parks besides high end restaurants and hotels. Some do find people who will marry them so they can stay. I have known a few.
