There were media outlets giving a very negative view of the GWOT before we started.

A free press means that the press decides what to print, not the government.

If you don’t want the US bombing and shooting you, don’t piss off the average American, because like it or not, the politicians will use popular opinion to get in office.

Saeed, freedom of the press ( or media) is different from poor quality news/ media. The media is free to publish whatever shit it wants, accurate or otherwise, but it’s still free to do so.

It’s up to the reader if they choose to read/ consume inaccurate or biased garbage.

Freedom of the press and the stupidity of the reader are completely different.
