In fairness he has said quite a few times that he has nothing against Americans, he just thinks your politicians are a bunch of idiots… and ours too for that matter. I believe he has lived in both the UK and the US.

But the US has proved time and again that a superpower is not bound by international law. Take the Republican Bush II and his invastion of Iraq, for instance.

Great point. When Congress overwhelmingly approves action, the ICC isnt take into account.
Let go a couple more, Obama, being the only president to violate the war powers act, didnt even have congressional approval and didnt feel like even briefing Congress.
So, same results, different processes.
By Jimmy's inference, neither were legal, but won't say, with an even hand, that both where also constitutional
BTW, the US doesn't feel ICC approval is required for any legal act in or from the US

Well, so far this year, Trump has averted a potentially nuclear war between Pakistan and India (yeah, I get it, they threaten to do that every few years and neither of them really mean it, they just want someone to step in and avert war, but Trump did it), He's about to work out a cease fire in the middle east and return of hostages (so it took a little bombing raid to do it) and he's working on a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia (by his admission, it's not going too well right now). Busy year. And while I don't think he has reasonable chance of winning at this point, he has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. If he brings in the second two, who knows?
