I can explain it; they are freakin' idiots. If they follow the lead of other locales where liberals got their way, they will also legalize hard drugs, and will in fact, make them available to users. They will glorify the unemployed and unemployable. They will count on those who are productive members of society to carry the rest. So it has always been. Regards, Bill | |||

Mike, did you even read the article??? They don’t think that “the solution” is to “legalize abortion and weed”. They think the best strategy to get progressive voters to turn out at the polls is to have a cannabis referendum and an abortion referendum on the ballot. It seems like a solid strategy to me: you get the lazy stoners off the couch and to the polls, you get the younger female voters to the polls. And, the conservative voters who will be opposed to these measures would have been at the polls regardless. Solid strategy, lots of upside with little downside.
