I want just for the irony of it for Dr. Easter to see the consequences of his advocacy give Texas a Dem Senator.

Maybe then he will smarten up.

smart
adjective (informal)
having or showing a quick-witted intelligence:
"if he was smart he would never have been tricked"

enough (adverb)
to the required degree or extent (used after an adjective, adverb, or verb):
"at the time, he wasn't old enough to vote" · "a "house that's big enough for your family"
Similar: sufficiently, adequately

So, the real question, re Lane, is he smart enough to know he's been tricked?

And is he smart enough to know who tricked him?

Was it Trump who tricked him, or did he trick himself?

Trick:
To outwit - deceive or outwit (someone) by being cunning or skillful
to deceive or mystify, or to create an illusion

Outwit:
To outsmart someone

ledvm can't really justify his support for MAGA BS in any meaningful way. He drank the Kool-Aid, and that is his right. He's old and white, and he wants to enjoy tax breaks that Trump promises. If you aren't white, aren't a man, and aren't affluent, is Trump or Cruz going to do anything for you? No. You don't exist in their world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1jWLRbXhyU

In Cruz's defense, I don't think is wife is ugly and I don't think his father had anything to do with killing JFK. Colin Allred will vote his conscience in Washington. Ted Cruz doesn't have one.

Only Trump is supposed to publicly humiliate Cruz that badly, and Allred didn't even mention his ugly wife...

An inability or unwillingness to change ones position when presented with irrefutable contrary evidence is not indicative of ‘smart’. It simply indicates stubbornness.

When I worked for TAMU…I underwent IQ testing several times.

Anytime any of the posters here within want to match scores…

…or for that matter…

any measure of personal accomplishment…

I’m here with bells on. Wink

But, I already know that supporting any Democrat and being mentally incompetent are synonymous actions. Big Grin

Fine. Exactly how many years did you serve your Country, and in what capacity?

When my time comes my casket will be draped with an American flag, maybe yours can be covered with dollar bills, since you sure as fuck don't care about honor, or integrity, or service to anyone but yourself.

Why'd they keep testing your IQ? Probably wondering why they hired you.

Apparently you have never worked for an institution and gone through annual review. Roll Eyes

They courted me for the position I held. I left for private practice to make more money.

Apparently you never worked for an institution either where you were up for tenure. Lots of hoops to jump through for the bureaucracy.

I know a lot of tenure college professors. By a lot, I mean more than 20.

They did not have this requirement.

By know, I mean I have dinner once or twice w tenure a year. They have discussed publishing and tenure.

However, enjoy your high IQ. It matters not.

In three years in the Personnel Reliability Program, the most stringent screening I know of, I regularly got psych evaluations to make sure I was just the right amount of crazy but didn't have to take repeated IQ tests.

They determined it was above room temperature early on.

That one was reserved for liberal prosecutors but with the high degree of failure in the 21st century, it was abandoned as protocol to be able to keep the positions filled.

I watched the Cruz-Allred debate. Not too exciting as Allred was poorly prepared and a poor debater. No facts, just a lot of fluff and bluster.
In the Fort Worth area, he is being panned as a liberal and LQBTQ tool...

He is not really in the race.
