in Q1 of 2000, the average earner made $568/wk, Q4 of 2022 it was $1084/wk

One may think, "WOW, thats almost double!", but that increase doesn't even come close to keeping pace with cost of living increases and inflation.

In 2002, the Consumer Price Index was at 2.6%, now its closer to 7%

More jobs hasn't equated to more productivity either:

That and there is another US employment metric that tracks the number of people working vs. the number of working age worker. Those not receiving unemployment benefits, but receiving other forms assistance payments would appear in one, but possibly not in the other.
In any condition, 500k of new jobs is better than 250k of new jobs if the other factors are equal(pay, number of weekly hours, etc.).

Politicians will will always tout the statistic that makes the look the best.

Ever hear of a place called Ukraine?

"We" are not knee deep.
Dipshits will be dipshits and I have no say. Tribalism in Africa, evil in Europe will go on no matter what I think or how I vote.

I get a say in where America fights.

So, your vote for Biden is an indicator that you're OK with getting more involved in Ukraine?
That's where we are headed under this administration.

Jesus. Roll Eyes

I didn't vote for Biden, don't intend to and have never voted democrat with the exception of Peltola this last fall. That vote was exclusively an anti Palin vote.

I'm gonna pass on your prophecy of boot on the ground in Ukraine, I don't see it and I say to Bidens credit we haven't so far.

Well, that says a lot. tu2

Now how about an anti Trumpism vote?

Regardless of who is his clone.

FYI - if you ID as "conservative" nowadays, Trump owns you.

Not a problem, I have never and will never support the guy. I believe trump to be an enemy of America.
