Saeed's complaints and criticisms of the US are well-founded. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq....the list of fuck-ups is long and tragic. When is the US going to learn to stay out of civil wars about religion and/or politics? Never ends well.

I read today that the UAE has 5,000 Air Force personnel. And, 12,000 in what they call the Presidential Guard, the most elite unit in the UAE. Guess who trains them? US Marines.
