Mistrial? Trump 'Hush Money' Judge Suggests Juror May Have Had Predetermined Guilty Verdict

quote:
The judge in the Trump 'hush money' case, Juan Merchan, just issued a very strange note to both parties indicating that a comment made on the court's Facebook page suggests that one of the jurors may have arrived at a 'guilty' verdict before the end of the trial, and told a family member.

When disinformation or lies are part of your ID affirmation consumption, --

One of my crazy Texas buddies used to say something like "a monkey's shit shows what he's been eating".

I had to get on his case several times before he stopped saying that by asking him in front of his friends if he makes a habit of examining monkey shit.

Your news sources are fodder for monkey shit.

My above post was my first instinct.

However, there is an article from CNN covering this more thoroughly.

"Questions have been raised about the legitimacy of the comment and the exact time that it was posted. Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records on May 30. The comment in question was left under a Facebook post made by the court on May 29. Merchan did not specify which day the comment was made but said in his letter that it was "labeled as one week old."

Some legal experts, including attorney and MSNBC commentator Katie Phang, have flagged a Facebook account with the same user name listed in Merchan's letter. That user, who goes by the name of Michael Anderson, is self-described as a "professional s*** poster" in the profile bio."

Just like Ann, Hannity & Fox & others ran with it full bore. I remember Dan Rather getting it wrong & they took his head off. Where's the Guillotine for Hannity? Where's Hannity's apology?

Pymple, are you saying the judge didn't acknowledge this and send a letter that it happened?

I hope this is true. The judge is clearly biased but he's not an idiot. He knows he will be reversed, so this gives him an out to blame a juror rather than himself. Not surprising.

IDK. I'm saying, like others keep pointing out, that your sources are worthless garbage.

If the judge thinks this is legitimate, he's going to grant a motion for mistrial or a motion for new trial and try your hero again.

The more I think about it, the more I hope that happens. Maybe we can have trump on trial again in late October or early November. He'll just be convicted again and we can have a shitload of news coverage and discussion about him cheating on his wife by banging a porn star, paying hush money to her and lying about it, falsifying business records in relation to the payment, etc. right before the election.

Pymple, you still haven't proved this wrong. There isn't a single participant here who has not posted something that has problems. Including you. Media is as biased as you are.

Probably is what will happen. I lean to think this was also planned. Wouldn't surprise me.

The only thing legitimate about it was the Judge notifying counsel of the post.

The guy who posted it is a MAGAt who admitted he was just shitposting to get a reaction.
