I hope this is true. The judge is clearly biased but he's not an idiot. He knows he will be reversed, so this gives him an out to blame a juror rather than himself. Not surprising.

He'll just be convicted again and we can have a shitload of news coverage and discussion about him cheating on his wife by banging a porn star, paying hush money to her and lying about it, falsifying business records in relation to the payment, etc. right before the election.
