You clearly do not understand mma and bjj. The skills are directly transferable to restraining a person Hell bent in not Bruce arrested. I have seen it.

Why would you want to pull the members of military training schools off the job they are doing to train FBI? There is no down time for the programs you are talking about. When one session ends, another starts.
Find someone who can do the job outside the military. The two do not mix. There are plenty of instructors in numerous disciplines out there, that could be the perfect fit in the civilian sector.
it would not save money to have it done in the military or with military personnel. It does not work that way. that is why things are farmed out to civilian contractors.
If you want me to say he said UFC because White is a pal of trumps, sure he is.
but your premise that in-gov would be a better choice, it just is not.

Buddy, you're the one saying MMA is the way to go, not me.

Point me to an MMA training facility designed to handle the training of FBI agents?

No offense, but it is ridiculous. If the goal is physical fitness (the stated objective in the article) why can't FBI agents just be ramped up in relation to the training they already receive? Quantico is a giant facility with huge resources. Are you telling me that there is no Ranger physical fitness instructor who can't find the time to train each FBI class? There aren't that many of them. And, that assumes it is even necessary. The FBI training requires a certain level of physical fitness.

And, again....I would say that the entire premise is ridiculous. The FBI has been training FBI personnel for 100 years. Suddenly, they can't handle it? They're not generally going to be in hand to hand combat with the terrorists/criminals that they are investigating or arresting. Patel is full of shit and the whole thing is ridiculous.

I'm a little bit surprised you can't get a handle on that.

Again, the only reason this is being floated is because of trump.

Mike you are not listening to what I am saying.
I am not promoting mma training.
I took it to mean physical training for field agents.
I already said, if it's to tell pencil pushers to run two miles, anyone could do it. What more do you want me to say?
The military is the most expensive to run government program you could think of.
I just said, find a civilian program that fits what the fbi needs. did you not read that? How can you turn that into me promoting MMA?
Some of the other topics were spin offs of this thread I joined in on.
I also just said, dana white is a trump pal, that is why ufc was brought up by patel.
Read again what I have been saying, you are not seeing what I said.
But again the military is a poor place, dollar wise, and need based for the fbi.
I'm sorry if you dont like that. Join the military and see for yourself. I was told it cost in the neighborhood of $250,000 to train me to the level I was at.
Civilian contract, or fbi trainers of any sort that pleases you, is a better option than military.

I guess. Apples and oranges and they don't want to admit it's an apple when it is clearly an orange? I dunno. I tried but it looks like nobody is getting it.

Bizaare.

Mike, geezus. I nowhere said you were promoting MMA. Nowhere have I been promoting the UFC.
I'm trying to get through to you, the military is not the way to go for fbi training. That means whether it's running to the coffee cart or training field agents, it is better handled in house or civilian contracted.
If the gov asked me, I would tell them the same thing.

If you say so buddy and you know better than me. No argument.

But, it makes zero fucking sense. You can't tell me that the FBI doesn't know how to train their people to be physically fit. That is total bullshit.

All of this relates to trump's aversion to being investigated by the FBI.
