Is there or is there not corruption in Ukraine, more significantly present than the US or UK?

Given Zelensky's recent acts, I tend to think it exists, and more than here.

You could take your pick from Western Europe, Canada, Auz, lots of examples. To my mind the democracies which work best are in Scandinavia. Somewhere with proportional representation might be closest to the definition of a democracy.

Put it this way, the list of democratic countries is a LOT longer than the list of benign dictatorships or monarchies.

By the way, what's your opinion of the new Iran President? Do you think he will lead Iran out of isolation or will the Ayatollah's block him?

The article I posted the link to specifically about the multitude of spurious web sites set up by am American now living in Russia which are designed to look like local US news site and which carry fake stories which are then referenced on social media.

Ukraine freely admits they have a corruption problem and are working to stamp it out. Anti corruption is one of the things he was elected on.
