16 million will lose their insurance, it will be even harder to get, and cuts to medicaid. People can just get over it.

With 30 million illegals, including 10m on calmed, your reply is just ignorant as in under informed
Work requirements for the able bodied? Bill Clinton would like a word.
But, if you are going the shrug your shoulders at this, NEVER complain about deficit spending again. Be principled

The GOP added more debt than the dems by a wide margin. Don't let facts get in your narrative, tho.

only an idiot would think correcting FACTS is support. What did you say, again?
If Trump is such a turd, there is no need to lie or misrepresent.. there would be zero need to fabricate a thing.
One won't need to take unrelated and uncontrolled facts, stick them together, and say "Trump did that " and of course, there would be no whiney chumps screaming whataboutism when additional facts are presented.
You get it yet? Or are you just 100% committed to YOUR irrelevant furriner opinions?

LHeym500Sen. McConnell knows citizens will lose Medicaid. He does not care nor ever cares. Jeff’s statements do not change that.
I’m going to pay more in tax bc the SALT is gone.
Liars, fools, and people marks.
We hope, that folks do not “get over it.” I will not.

on salt

The revised Senate bill preserves the ability of taxpayers to use pass-through entities to claim the SALT deduction, rejecting prior House language that would have restricted this practice. This decision has been praised by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and other stakeholders representing specified service trades or businesses (SSTBs).

LHeym500After five years, it would return to $10,000, a departure from the House-passed bill.
Before the rule, taxpayers could deduct all their state and local taxes from their federal taxes.
Let me know when Republicans decide I can have all my money back like before.

So, right now, its 10k max, bill raises that, and allows congress in 5 years to decide, or it returns to 10k.. saving you AND me a good deal of money over the next 5 years? And thats bad how? And even a complete removal in this bill doesn't prevent congress from removing in 5 years.
You need to learn to take a win
30 June 2025, 02:57
LHeym500Again, let me know when the R majorities say I can have all my money back like it used to be.
And I am not a debt hawk. I’m against making it worse while squeezing out safety net and middle class for cooperations and Jeff Bazos.
No, Americans will not forget at the polls.
But it offsets these expensive tax cuts in part through what several experts said may prove to be the most dramatic reductions in safety net spending in modern U.S. history. While last-minute changes to the bill text make precise estimates impossible, the legislation appears on track to cut Medicaid by about 18 percent and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by roughly 20 percent, according to estimates based on projections from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.
The Congressional Budget Office has estimated that the Senate tax bill will lead to roughly 12 million fewer people receiving Medicaid and more than 2 million fewer people receiving food stamps.

You are correct in this part. Only republicans will vote for removing this cap for 5 years.
30 June 2025, 03:26
LHeym500And it was Republicans who voted to end entire the exemption in the first place.
2017.
Thank you fake conservatives and President Trump.
Before that there was no cap in what was exempted.
Again, let me know when the GOP says I can keep my money.

wow -- holy move the goal posts, batman --
the point i ANSWERED was this FALSE claim

If the SALT portion isn't amended, you will pay less money -- but, SERIOUSLY - "keep my money" vs salt tax deduction --
let's say, just for fun, your incremental rate is 25%, and you paid $20000 in salt, with no cap, you get back or credit for $5,000 -- the 20k you agreed to pay, you get back 5k, and you are made at federal gop for you not keeping all your money you agreed to pay AND getting back everything allowable .. but "for only 5 years" --
as you are well aware, laws are subject to whim and process - take the win, fight for it to be made perm (which can still be changed with another law) over the next 5 years --
you are arguing in circles and, frankly, are just dead wrong .. i know, you don't like being called wrong. At the moment, the spendulus package gives your all the same money back -- and you want it being made perm ...
BOTH OF WHICH reduce federal income, so let's not hear any budget hawk talk from you in the future, as you ware willing to increase the debt because it benefits you --
and even if it was for ONE year, you would still pay less "lifetime" taxes than if it wasn't raised --
dems HELD CONGRESS and the white house for 2 years -- they could have easily passed a law .. hey didn't - life aint fair, wipe the dirt off, and walk it off, it's FOLLOWING THE PROCESS -- and here you are, mad about the outcomes
Because of your stupid laws, allowing the human vermin to flourish, you have absolutely the worst health insurance around!

I still don't know whether the proposal is to cut the actual spending or just cut an increase in spending. It's a big job to read a 940-page mess that's still a work in progress. Mostly likely the people voting on it have not either.
Maybe its volume is to fend off detailed examination until voting time. Flood the Zone.
We have to pass it to find out what's in it?

well it will be hard for the followers of the cult of the supreme leader ... even those claimed they did not vote for him are supporting anything he does ...
