The $2 billion they got from Saudi Arabia is helping them get through these tough times.

Fine by Lane & his buddies, they're more into Hunter's scraps than Kushner's BILLIONS, which they never, ever bring up.

I get your skepticism, it's hard to believe since Jared is a useless idiot.

But.....Wymple is spot on as usual. Documented fact that the Saudi's fed $2 billion into Jared's investment wealth fund. You guess why. His investment expertise?

Dumb name these days but quality reporting for a very long time.

The $2 billion has been widely reported.

Corruption at the highest level in the trump administration. Nobody even tries to act otherwise.

trump will probably appoint Jared as Secretary of State if he gets re-elected.

You GOP types riding with the brand OK on that?

The money went into the investment fund he controls.

It's not arguable that he didn't receive the money. He did.

It's the misleading statement that HE received it.
It is invested in his firm according to fact check, and regulators are watching it closely.
Do the saudis expect a return, of course. The same as the money Biden got. And the same shit politicians get away with, with insider trading.
Does anything happen to them..... nope, they all cover each others ass.

The House Committee is still trying to get compliance as of Feb 2023.

https://oversightdemocrats.hou...nce-with-committee-s

Also, JK got a 1 billion dollar loan in addition to the 2 billion.

https://www.newsweek.com/jared...gation-1760458?amp=1

So the total funds from Saudi Arabia to JK control is 3 billion.

I would personally hate being in hac to the Saudi’s for 3 big ones.

Now, it appears Qatar refused to invest, and for blockaded.

According to emperor Heym, words matter.
Hillary was absolved when wording was changed from negligent to extremely careless by Comey.
The same should apply to K in that it was his firm that got the money, not JK himself.
It's JK and his partners problem what happens to the money. If they end up in parts inside a suitcase, it's their deal.

I did not say JK did any thing illegal.

I said he got billions from the Saudis.

I am not personally ok with that. However, I do not know if it is illegal. Probably not. The Saudi controlled investment firm controls the PGA now.

He did have his Security Clearance revoked.

Words do matter. There is a distinction between negligence and gross negligence. Also, Comey gave more (he says) case law factors I’m making the determination of what amounted to negligence instead of gross negligence. What is clear is the the Faction and Apologist do not care about those factors in controlling case law, precedents. Of course, I have not read them, nor the briefs generated Comey could be lying. There is no evidence of that, so I do not believe it.

JK can’t do whatever he wants w the money, but he sits at the top of the mound for how it gets spent.

Personally, I would be fine w a law that says Ex Government, Government, and immediate Government families and businesses interest cannot receive funds from foreign governments.

That, I guess, is a different conversation.

What Congress is looking into for both JK and HB is did they get money for doing something for those foreign governments?

Either way you
look at it JK benefited to the tune of billions of dollars from the Saudis.

Negligence and Gross Negligence are not semantics.

They are separate legal causes of action/theory that has separate elements that must be proven in the criminal realm beyond a reasonable doubt with facts permitted by controlling case law.
