The sticky part is that the USA didn't initiate the slavery. The British did. They brought it to serve their Southern colonies. Just as they had used it in the Carribean islands. Former British subject colonist families didn't want to lose their lifestyles and struggled to keep it. The USA fought a civil war that eradicated it. King Charles is the one who needs to pay reparations as do the heirs of the plantation wealth generated by the slave labor.

I don't understand why we're talking about this. It is never going to happen. Adding another $19 trillion to our current $28 trillion in debt would wreck the economy.
