I idly wonder if Trump doesn't want the project to look like a happy accident, not a bedrock part of his party platform...

They let it out and got a much more negative reaction than they expected from parts of the Republican Party, the parts that have since come out in support of Harris.

Yet those so-called parts of the Republican party support Harris, rather than any Republican candidates? No one who comes out in support of Harris is (a) a part of the Republican party, or (b) rational. Bill.

If one of the options is utterly toxic the other must be the rational one, no matter what the label.

They are Republicans who aren't insane, and don't support fascism.

You know, loyal Americans.

You have been messing around with false equivalences and pretending to be objective, sorta fence straddling. Now we know.

So, you thought the GOPer extremists ran off all they considered RINOs? Now you seem surprised and disappointed that there are many still there, trying to do the right things, finally.

It would make sense for some to vote one way for president and the opposite for the down-ballot candidates.
There might be a lot of Republican wins in the down-ballot, and there will be the usual remarks about the statistics of the matter.

If Trump's recent record of folks he endorses losing continues in November it could be a bloodbath.

If I was a Republican running in any State that's not solid red the last thing I'd want is to be associated with Trump.
