Here's my solution for the SS DEI hires. Do not fire them. Money was spent on a lot of training.

They need to be assigned in 100% composition to 0biden and any other former admin govt official allowed to have a SS detail posted to them.

Makes everyone happy. Right?

It doesn't look like they want to talk about it at all. 0biden should be surrounded by his DEI hires for everything.

So, you agree that the trump assassination attempt was the fault of female SS agents?

New York
CNN

In the days following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, the Secret Service, charged with securing the Pennsylvania event, has faced scrutiny for the extraordinary breach that led to the agency’s worst failure in decades.

But one narrative has quickly taken hold in parts of the right-wing media ecosystem: The security failure was the result of workforce diversity initiatives and women working as Secret Service agents.

While the security lapse happened outside of the event’s hard perimeter at a poorly secured building roughly 120 to 150 meters away from the stage, prominent right-wing figures have launched misogynistic attacks, blaming the female agents positioned near Trump as well as Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle, the second woman to hold the top job and an advocate for women to join the force.

Cheatle was in charge. Yes she rightly should go.

As to the people on duty at the time- I don’t know. It does look like from the outside in that the Trump detail was slow and that some of those folks were out of shape.

You are in court.

Would you feel comfortable about a 5-2 120# female bailiff guard being the person between you and some 6-8 300# prison bodybuilding person who just went off the handle?

There should be some degree of physical requirements for a lot of jobs. Those requirements should not be changed based on the gender and age of the person doing the job. If you are going on merit, if the job is primarily physical, you will see younger men predominating in it.

You'll need to point out the folks you believe are unfit for the job. I don't see any. It also looks to me like they moved pretty quick to get trump on the ground and to shield him.

By the way, if there's no jury present, criminal Defendants are typically handcuffed in court. In a jury trial, they're shackled to the floor under defense counsel's table so the jury can't see. And, there are plenty of female bailiffs. If a defendant is deemed a threat, there will be multiple bailiffs present and close to him. And, they are usually big folks.

In KY they are not shackled during trial at all. Only if they have done something that permits s finding of that necessity. That does not include the charge.

We had the murder we were trying setting right behind us during part of the trial wca female e baliff 20 feet away as the closest security.

And they are usually big folks…

Sounds like there is a requirement there…

Which is good.

Biden seemed to put the physical and mental requirements secondary to meeting DEI quotas.

Letting folks in to a merit based system with lower merit in the name of equity seems not like a society based on equality.

For instance, I don’t see a reason why a woman cannot be a fighter pilot. I can see why most women cannot be light infantry.

Female bailiffs working during murder trials here.

Yes, such cases get extra security, but it is lax during trial so as not to corrupt the presumption of innocence.

By lax, I mean unshackled and permitted to move about so an officer on their back pocket.

Bailiffs in my venue are typically not in very good shape and I don't mean that in a critical way. Their job is to sit around the court house all day. Many of them are retired from another law enforcement job.

Because President trump picked a totally ridiculous place to hold a rally? In the middle of a giant field with virtually unlimited visibility for hundreds of yards in all directions?

Having visibility in all direction, for a long distance, is, from a security standpoint, a good thing. Not being afraid of a moderately sloped roof is also a good thing, but the detail failed that one. The whole thing was one error after another. By everyone. Bill.

SS can voice security concerns over choice of venue for a rally and veto the event after having conducted a site survey risk assessment or provide the service as requested on the required level of protection.

They failed - period.

I mean really. in that location...there was basically one place to secure. The SS was drinking Coke underneath it while a novice sniper was acting. It really couldn't have been a more epic failure.

You are soo close... with nothing but a defined number of clustered, gentle sloop, easily patrolled rooftops, that could have been closed up with minimal effort... but the sloop was "dangerous "...

The only thing those roofs where dangerous to was a coke bottles slowly rolling off and might hit concrete rather than dirt
