Yeah, those Goldman guys are idiots. That is why Trump appointed both Gary Cohn and Steve Mnuchin to senior economic positions in his administration. Of course, as Trump started being Trump and doing stupid things like talking up trade tariffs, Cohn ended up resigning. Goldman Sachs knows there is opportunity for the well positioned in all economic environments — even environments such as 2008-2011.
