I’ll give Texas its due.

There is some good juice coming out of Texas. Younger, but the climate really causes a lot of wood contact/interaction in a short period of time.

No color added no artificial chemicals permitted. Water, distillate, charged oak, and age.

Canada permits adulterations.

First Round is a draw with both scoring 1–1.

Make the deed out to the People of the United States.

US laid some wood at the end.

Question, when are you allowed to lay the pads on someone? Why not just hammer them across the ice and not just against the wall?

So our bash brothers can comedown and play spear in the neutral zone?

US out hit Canada 15-7.
It is clear that U.S. strategy includes breaking Canada w physical play.

I come from football and boxing.

Both built in the idea that a great player becomes a good player when you hit him hard, long enough, and some will just quit.

3-2 in overtime to Canada.

God Bless Canada. That was fun. I would like the game wo “offsides” open it up like basketball full break. I only followed maybe 10 percent while watching it all.

I know the game was more orchestrated (game plan attack) than I can recognize.

I am going to watch more in the future.

Regardless it was a well played game.

The politics got in the way a bit, bus still a well played game.

That it went to overtime to be decided said something.

Congrats to team Canada.

I always thought the offside call should be tossed. Be a little hard on the goalies though!
I played when I was a kid. We played on natural ice in northern B.C. and frostbite was always a concern. Bill
