Seems to me that there is too much generalization here. It's not "Arabs" vs. everyone else. There are terrorist states and organizations certainly, but the entire Middle East is not complicit. I would like to see someone say that if Hamas released however may hostages remain alive and turn over those involved in the October 7 attacks and the murders of the hostages who are no longer alive, a cease fire is at least possible. Where we could go from there is uncertain, but it seems to beat all out war in the region. If Iran insists on war, so be it, but there are a lot of great Iranian people. I never would have got through calculus in college without Hassan, an Iranian student. Extremist views are the problem.
But past crimes need to be prosecuted. Killing terrorists wherever they may be found is not a crime.

I agree with all that Lavaca.

My only word of caution is that I do not know whether the cost benefit analysis to kill the one off terrorist leader in Iran or whatever Islamic Nation state said terrorist leader might be in breaks to benefit.

The head will just grow back and these incursions into the sovereignty of Iran has a marching to large war effect.

I am not saying this exercise of human waste removal by Israel is wrong nor incorrect. I am just saying the Western leaders, Israel, Middle Eastern rational actors need to think about what is being gained at the expense of the foreseeable greater good/end game.

What makes a state a state is international recognition.

Israel has long had that.

Yes Saeed, and many also view the Israeli settlements in the WB as illegal.

Shooting rockets at civilians, massacring civilians at a music festival, bombing Israeli businesses and all the rest is just as illegal.
