He just decided he was pro-choice, too.

Yep, smart enough to know he must flip-flop on the politics to win. Wink

But hey, he is superior to any Democrat, I am supporting him.

Unlike you Steve, I don’t cut my nose off to spite my face. Cool

A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

Unlike you Lane, I'm not a sheep. I vote for the candidate who I feel will do the best job, regardless of party affiliation. tu2

Gov Hogan has always been moderately pro choice.

He is not a fool like those who advocate for women to be sent home bleeding out or raped children giving birth.

After a lot of thought, pro choice is not a dealbreaker for me. I truly believe that abortion is wrong, but if someone wants to murder a helpless infant jump on a rocket sled to hell, it's not up to me to stop them.

Plus, abortions mean less Democrats, so I guess I'll take the good with the bad. ,

Stupid takes the square.

The consequences of Dobbs in state like Texas show it is not as simple as you wish.

A woman with a child about to be born with a low probability of quality of life, the birth putting her life in jeopardy is going straight to Hell.

The Christian Nationalist need to be worried about their souls.

Abortion was not restricted in the Old Testament. God restricted a whole bunch during the Old Testament. The practice was known.

Funny he did not say a word in either Testament about Abortion.

Heym,

When my wife and I were having children, we had some bad test results that suggested the child could have serious defects. My wife wife is a devout Catholic, and while I'd like to be, I've always fallen short. But "we" mostly she, concluded we'd have the child no matter what. He's 34 years old today and has a masters degree.

I'm more of the mind, thou shalt not interfere in others business.

Or religion, or health matters, sex life etc.

YMMV

Does not change anything stated above. We know the Children of Abraham killed a lot of folks w God’s consent.

unless it's the mother being denied care?

Or a cop stopping a black man?

Or Trump paying for a playmate's abortion?
