ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Donald Trump’s presidential campaign says it isn’t responsible for a $209,000 bill from the city of St. Cloud for costs related to a summer rally in the central Minnesota city.

The Trump campaign told St. Cloud LIVE in a Thursday email that the U.S. Secret Service is responsible for local law enforcement and first responder costs...

The rally’s costs to the city include police and fire department support, public services, construction change order for University Drive, and IT department services, according to the city.

I guess since he got away with charging taxpayers 300% for rooms in his own hotels he figures we should pay for his campaign too.

He's always been a deadbeat, put a lot of contractors out of business by refusing to pay for work on his buildings. His favorite move was to claim the work was sub-standard but he never had anything redone.

Can the agencies to which his campaign owes money sue to try to collect? Would it be worth the effort?

He'd tie them up for years and years with delays and countersuits, he's got 50 years of experience doing it, that's how he bankrupted dozens and dozens of small companies that made the mistake of working on his buildings.

Except the mob he bought concrete from, them he paid.

Can they refuse to provide services?

Yes, they could, but he mostly holds events with MAGAts in charge of local government who are happy to stick taxpayers with paying for Trump's august presence.

Lots of towns and cities could retire their debt by offering residents the option of paying a reasonable levy to refuse to allow him within the city limits.
