https://www.foxnews.com/media/...-two-half-years-late Everyone under my roof got it back in June and for myself and the missus it was quite serious. But I think it's hilarious that for the last couple years those voicing any skepticism were denounced and condemned.

Yes, nothing but a robust flu with a low mortality rate that was magnified by piss poor medical practice and a more lethal pseudo vaccine.

All the fear, screaming and hate over this. Some of us knew they were lying. How awful for those who lost their jobs over this scam. Did you see the reports on stroke incidents with vaxxers? Another, oh, we didn't know... ~Ann

I wouldn't know about that, as I said, for my family it was quite serious for a couple. I feel comfortable that the research and medicine was well intentioned. I think the fear or the new and unknown was reasonable, but the animosity was not, especially along with the growing evidence that all the hysteria wasn't working. Rachel Maddow said she needed to retrain herself to not see maskless person's as enemies. Here on the pf Ann reassured us all ad nauseam that she social distanced to the last degree, but because Ann wouldn't cut to be first in line to get all the shots and boosters she was villified. It was said that a retired lady living alone on a farm in the country was Enemy Numero Uno. And then it all just went away. The court said the mask mandate was not legal and that was it for masks. Get triple boosted and still go down hard with corona and the shots are over. Trump looses the election and all the kids go back to school.

Why should I believe someone on Fox News over John Hopkins University?
|

Definitely not! I think most did and do believe John Hopkins a d others. I do. But our experience has shown that we got a bit carried away and it obviously was made much worse with the irrational overreaction and villification. Rachel Maddows enemies were never the maskless. Ann never wished ill on her neighbor or any other Americans by not getting the shot. Your hysterical condemnation is an easy decent example. You are wrong and look like an idiot for insisting.

Overcounting or not, for awhile it was hard to get into a hospital on account of the number of COVID cases occupying beds. TomP Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right. Carl Schurz (1829 - 1906)

I object to hysteria. As pointed out my family was unable to get into a hospital room because of Covid with active seizures and pain as a surgical candidate with multiple prior lumbar surgeries. I also fully enforced the law in affect as it was Constitutional per our State Constitution and higher Courts. I would do do again. It was no different than what we do with TB. I guess all those trucks being used to store dead bodies in NY, and my own relations who were Fox Need anti Vaxers who were told not to worry about the medicine killing you bc you are dying now was fake news.

Hysteria is the key. Fear was the goal. They got that one won. It brought out the very worst in people for sure. ~Ann

We are over counting covid deaths and hospitalizations. That is a problem.

The reason they had all those trucks of dead was they were shutting down the economy. We ahve a rather limited way of disposing of human remains. The funeral industry. Its rather limited in its capacity. Cut down the ability to have funerals (that the families want) and the bodies either stack up or we mass bury them.

I think I just had corona again. I felt fine, but my taste and smell went full whacko. Coffee smelled burned again and normal other smells like toast would stay with me for hours after. Fortunately here the silliness of everyone staying home wore off in short weeks. Dillingham already is socially distanced so we mostly went back to work and just kept to our groups or families. As Doc mentioned, there were graves to be dug and we had to do it. I took a MD and his friend fishing, I didn't wear a mask in the boat, he didn't ask me to and the Doc didn't wear one himself. After most of the day had gone by I asked why, and his response was that even though we were in close proximity in the small boat, there was a breeze and no e of us were coughing or hacking so he saw no reason to mask. Seemed reasonable and not much of an enemy to the lovely Ms Maddow or others.

I had COVID twice about 6 months apart in 2022 — Feb & August. Both mild symptoms but antigen positive. I have never had the off taste and smell. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. Yeah, not sure a report from FOX News represents the best analysis of the issue? And, why anybody would think so is a mystery. -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.

Fox News is more accurate than any other MSM outlet. Lots of credible sources now corroborating exaggerated numbers. A different subject but how bad Meet the Press - Chuck Todd - NBC has become: https://twitter.com/jonathantu...X0JeZisos0CZJBXJMdiw ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. Let me translate this for Lane: FOX News most accurately reflects my right-wing conservative ideology. Therefore, it is the most accurate. -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.

No sir…I read many sources. They get it right as much or more often than any other outlet. Sirius Fox Headline News is great for just news. Fox Business gets very good business expert interviews. Regular Fox News has some good and some not so good programs but their afternoon and early evening programs also get to the truth better than most MSM. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. If you are well read, like politics, and news…I can’t see how you wouldn’t like Fox. They are a bit liberal for my taste in politics but they are about as accurate and balanced as it gets these days. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J.
