SaeedRibeye v. Filet
Well, we just had a BBQ for a few friends here this evening.
Both fillet and ribeye were presented.
Ribeye won hands down!

Lane,
You need to give the standing rib roast a try.
It’s a lot more work but the end result is amazing.
Yep…one of my favorites.

They use the term BBQ for grilling.

most folks outside of Texas/OK calling using a grill a "bbq" -- let it pass.
but, hey yall, have you ever tried to bbq a chuck roast? do it just like a brisket, it's pretty darn good, and about 2/3 the time

Around here locally, some are all about wagu beef. Others, have gone the other way, and want less fat. We cross our angus with a dual purpose breed, or even holstein. Still a good eating, fast growing animal with less fat. Many are doing the same, as it's what people want.
I'm like elkhunter. I eat deer, moose and young bear. Chicken, turkey and maybe porkloin on the grill. Fattier meats just sit heavy on my stomach.
