A friend of mine just retired from the CHP. He had to buy Narcan out of his own pocket at $120 each so that if one of his officers accidentally came into contact with drugs during a search, he could save them. The homeless druggies in Stockton are given Narcan whenever they want it from the advocates. Some of them are taken to the hospital everyday after ODing and brought back with Narcan. They know they will be fine and can get that ultimate high when ever they want it. | |||

I do not agree with the pipes. However, fast access to Narcan saved lives. I would rather they not die. This, I am all for Narcan availability. | |||
