Deflection? Hardly but I find it laughable to start a thread when the OPs side caused billions of dollars in damage and they get a pass. You get an unorganized riot at the Capitol which never seemed to have a central unified purpose and you think I’m deflecting? Give it a break.

Sure, some were just opportunistic shoplifters, others were asking for directions thru traffic....... rotflmo They weren't there to stop the workings of the US government in certifying an election. They weren't there for their dear leader.

There central purpose was obvious. They chanted it. Many have admitted to it. It being to keep President Trump in power.

Talk about a false equivalency. Street riots and looting versus a violent attack of the Capitol in an effort to disrupt the orderly transition of power. While both are certainly wrong, to suggest that the former in any way equates to the latter just makes the person offering that view up look stupid.
